I have spent the day seeking info on proper format for letters of inquiry for use in Submissions, and do not seem to find much, maybe I need I better search term to use. As for the status of the screenplay, i will have to post later after I have spoken to the author.
I hope that this blog and the yahoo group begin to see more activity soon. To everyone who is reading this, please post and let us hear what you think,

Today is the first day month, I love the first day, all things seem possible Just wanted to let everyone know that we are still getting the word out about this screenplay, so if you are part of this project, GREAT JOB, and keep it going! If you are interested in becoming involved, read the screenplay synopsis listed on this site, go visit the Official Blog site, leave comments here and there. Also you can join the yahoo group to leave comments and begin discussions there as well.
The most important thing is getting this screenplay the attention it deserves, and getting it to the right people!

The Official Website for Return To Everlong has been changed , as far as its over all appearance. I think the change is easier to view, so hopefully we can view the posts abit better. Also, posts there will be in a different format, to see if following conversations will be easier.
I was hoping that this blog would become a home for all sorts of artsy types, writers, thinkers, you name it. I see I need to rethink how to advertise this blog, to get more people involved in it. So, tomorrow I will hit the Google search for “how to get more readers to come to your blog” entries. I still think that this screenplay has something new and interesting, I just need to learn how to get more folks to read about it.

Good morning
Today is a cold but great day, I am in fine spirits and ready to get cracking on some more publicity about this movie. I wonder who I could email about it today? I think I will look at whose who in the big networks, maybe someone there can help us out with some publicity????
I will be back later today, to edit this and hopefully either add in the synopsis here. If that wont work, then you will have to link to the yahoo group in the links section to see it. I will try to upload again here first.
well, for a few hours today, i sat and wrote many emails to various production companies and such, asking about their policy on submitting synopsis and other written works. I am beginning to see how hard it really is to break into the movies. You never hear much about screenwriters, mostly you hear about the wanna be starlet, or star who is aching to be in movies. But I think its harder in some respects to be a screenwriter. Its definitly about who you know. I have learned so much in the last few weeks, I am not sure if this is something I could do as a profession, although i do like the research part.
I think I was born to do research, my lot in life. Anyway, lets hope we hear soon from many of these folks I emailed.

This is the email I received from the Author of Return to Everlong yesterday, October 11th:
“Well, after three months of sending out query letters, we finally got an agency that read the script, Return to Everlong, and is excited to not only represent us, but thinks they can option the script pretty quick. Determination, and the magic of emails, and the US Postal Service looks like its finally paying off. We sign with them today. Great feeling of relief! Good luck to all!”
That was sent out the 11th, as I said and now the work gets even more fun from here on out. If you are interested in knowing more about Return to Everlong, and cant find what info you are looking for here, either leave a comment, or email me and I will gladly help you with what ever I can.
Back to work
I have begun to submit the link for this blog to the various Blog Index services that I can find, the first one registered today was Globe of Blogs. I should be able to report it was sucessful in a few days.
Also listed with Technorati, which seems to be a very cool place to find blogs, register them and what have you, I am having such a great time doing this !
After last night with all the links I searched , and watching a truly bad movie called Stay Alive, I am beat. I will be posting some more links today sometime, but I would like to make sure that what I post is not only websites out to make money, such as anything to do with IUniverse. My father had the misfortune of having had to deal with them over a few of his books a while back, and I would not recommend them to anyone. I guess some folks have a better relationship with that company, I just dont like how they do business.
Anywho…. I saw today that more people signed up at the Yahoo group for Return to Everlong, that made me feel good. I hope that I can figure out how to get that group, and this blog into the promotion stage, so that means more reading of the FAQs here and at google. I belong to a couple of graphics groups that have talked about getting your website/blog up in the search engines, will have to go back and re read those posts.
